Storm

Dalam kitab Markus 4:35-41. Yesus dan murid muridnya naik kapal dan ketika itu ada badai yang menerjang kapal mereka. Ketika itu Yesus tidur dan dibangunkan oleh muridnya dan setelah itu Yesus memerintahkan angin dan badai untuk reda. "Quiet! Be still!" lalu Yesus bertanya kepada muridnya. "mengapa engkau sangat takut dan tidak memiliki iman?"

Have we naively gotten into the boat dengan Yesus dan setelah itu masalah datang silih berganti? Apa yang kita pikirkan dalam pikiran kita dengan apa yang Yesus pikirkan adalah dua hal yang berbeda.

"On journey between presence and promise we will encounter unexpected and dangerous storms."

Sering sekali kita seperti murid murid Yesus yang berpikir bahwa bersama Yesus dalam kapal semua dan segala sesuatunya berjalan lancar dan tanpa ada goncangan.

Matius 5:45

Yesus berjalan bersama kita dalam badai. Yesus berjalan bersama kita dalam kesedihan Dia bersama kita dalam kesulitan dan dalam situasi yang sulit.

Tuhan membawa kita melalui badai agar kita menjadi orang yang Dia inginkan. Prophetic Word that come with hope joy and excitement also bring us into a time of testing. After a promise usually comes a problem. A set of circumstances that are designed to enable us to hold on to the word we have received.

Our Crisis is not God Crisis. He knows the storm. He is bigger than any fear, He is bigger than any of our circumstances. He knew the storm was coming. God never promise that we would never see a storm in life. As a matter of fact. He has told us to expect trouble. He has promised that He will be with us in the storm. He will never leave his children alone in the midst of trouble.

Why had Jesus slept while our world was turning upside down. He allowed that because he knew that God is in control. He knew that in the storm. It would change us and break us in a point where river of God can flow through us in a way it never possible before. Jesus promise He will walk with us in the storm. Not us out of the storm.

I have learned that God shapes leaders in the midst of storms.
